Outpost Local

For locksmiths / NEW HOMEOWNERS

The first call a new homeowner should make is to change the locks.

Outpost Local reaches people in your area the week they move in, before they search. You get the rekey, and everything that follows.

01The moment

A new owner has no idea how many keys are still out there.

The previous owner. The agent. Past tradies. A cleaner. An ex. When someone buys a house, a dozen keys to their new front door are still floating around, and rekeying is the obvious first job.

It is also the last thing they think of in the rush of moving. Reach them first and you are the locksmith who sorts it, then comes back for the alarm, the smart lock, and the security check.

02How it works

How it works

  1. 01

    Hold your area

One locksmith per area. While you hold it, no competitor can buy the same slot.

  2. 02

    We reach the new homeowners

In the weeks after they move in, before they search, in your area.

  3. 03

    You answer the phone

The enquiry is yours alone. No bidding, no dashboard, no race.

03Why Outpost Local for locksmiths
Intent, not a directory
These are homeowners with a real first-ninety-days need, not a shared lead pinged to five locksmiths at once.
Local and yours
Enquiries come from your area, to you alone. You are the only locksmith they call, not the fastest of five.
Simple jobs to service
Rekeys and lock changes are quick, planned, residential work you can book around your day.
The slot is closed once you hold it
One locksmith per area. Take it and a competitor cannot.
04Not shared leads

Not shared leads

Shared leads
  • The same enquiry goes to several trades at once.
  • You quote against others, and the cheapest or fastest wins.
  • You reach them after they have started searching and comparing.
  • You pay per lead whether you win or not.
Outpost Local
  • The enquiry is yours alone, in an area only you hold.
  • No quote race. You are the one they call, not one of five.
  • You reach them before the search, at move-in.
  • You hold an area, not a stack of contested leads.

Same effort, more jobs won, because you are not competing for them.

05The work

One letter at move-in, a relationship after.

The first job is the rekey. It is your way in to the higher-value work: alarms, smart locks, a full security upgrade.

  • Rekey and spare keys
  • Deadlocks and window locks
  • Alarm and smart-lock install
  • Home security check
07Questions

Questions

How is this different from shared leads?
You are not paying to quote against three other locksmiths for the same job. The enquiry is yours, in an area only you hold, and you reach the homeowner before they start searching.
What does it cost?
It depends on your area and the volume in it. Tell us your area and we will give you the figure and the terms. Pricing is per area, quarterly or annual.
What areas do you cover?
Sydney and NSW, one locksmith per area. Some areas are open, some are already held. Tell us your area and we will tell you which.
Why commit to an area instead of paying month to month?
Because the value is holding the territory. If it can be switched on and off, it is not exclusive, and your competitor could pick it up the moment you pause.
What if it does not work for me?
We review it honestly against your area, your trade fit, and whether you are set up to convert the work. The commitment is there so the exclusivity is real, not so you are stuck.
Do I need any marketing setup or know-how?
No. There is nothing to build or run. You hold the area, we do the reaching, you answer the phone.
How do I start?
Check if your area is open. Tell us your trade and area and we will tell you whether the slot is free, the volume, and what it costs to hold it.
